Faith

We believe that God sent Jesus Christ to earth to save anyone who believes in Him from death, granting them eternal life with Him in heaven.  We believe He died on a cross–a criminal’s death–as a sinless person and was raised from the dead three days later.  This makes Him our Savior.  We believe He loves us and welcomes anyone who seeks Him.

As one can imagine, this journey has taken us down a path in life that was never anticipated by us.  But God planned this for us before He created the world.  He loves Reece more than even we do.  Yes, there are days when those truths are hard to accept, but we do accept them.  We have had many “God moments” in this journey already–meaning it is clear to see His hand in decisions, feelings, messages, thoughts, etc.

It is impossible for us to not turn to God for answers and comfort, and to trust in His plan for Reece.  The title of this blog is a scripture reference from the Bible as follows:

Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways!
You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands;
you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you.

Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house;
your children will be like olive shoots around your table.
Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord.

Psalm 128:1-4 (ESV)

We hold on to this promise, among many others, as we walk along this path.
